Matt's four column design was one of the most challenging
HTML/CSS codes that I had to write. The problem was
functionally integrating the power of Movable Type
into his design requirements and making sure that
it looked the same on all platforms.
All of the columns are updated by Movable Type,
but the key is really the two center columns. The
right column is the regular blog entry, while the
left column has been coded to only display the excerpt
of each blog. This gives Matt the ability to post
a picture in relation to any entry in that space
without having to have it appear in the same column.
Let's just say this - Movable Type and I are good
friends now.
